About

UndermindMusicDOTcom

I started making music through spoken word poetry.
When I was fifteen I linked up with a up-coming
producer in my town by the name of G_Force. We
created four albums together using his production
and my words as well as collaborations with a few
other artists and close friends. As soon as I had
the ability to promote I was on it. My street performing
came from me selling Cd’s on the street and one
random afternoon discovering a form of acoustic
music that could grab peoples attention and
give them a small glimpse into the world of
music that I reside in. We published 1400 cds
the first two years we worked together and
put together another 808 for the release of Reality
Hurts which was our last project together. G_Force moved to Portland, Oregon and I decided to stay in Eugene, Oregon.

I’ve always been a solo artist but could never help
jumping between groups working on collaborations
and getting to know the scene. The reason I like
being an individual artist is because the only person
I can rely on, blame or push to pursue- is myself.
The only way I’ll be let down is if I let myself down.

In the time I worked with G_Force and his crew
member Rapsodee.P I was given the opportunity
to perform at nearly every venue in town and
open for numerous touring acts I only imagined
I would share a stage with. Since then I have
continued working locally and progressively growing
continuing on the same path. I’ve released a handful
of cd’s with my own production including one for
each year of the Oregon Country Fair where I
have been so greatful to perform at
for the past four years.

In 2009 I released three albums. A self titled
album I made with a good friend Chase Parkison
who recorded nearly all the guitar and allowed
me to manipulate it in any way to create the
instrumentals for the Cd. I decided it was time
to get my music out at no cost without wasting
my overhead dollars and put it online for free.
I recorded and sold out of my first album featuring
all beat boxing from my street performing sets
and then added digital drums to the endings and
created background instrumentals with a Korg Triton.
I also put together a mix-up called Just For Kicks
that was made up of my favorite songs from
my last three albums.

As for the future, 2010 is a complete mystery.
I like to think things are going to get better
and am always optimistic about my life, but
currently I have been focusing on my business
creating graphics and web pages for other people.
My real goal in life for the most part is to
be able to purchase a house someday, so
I have to be realistic and focus more energy on
making a living, but of course music is my
biggest release and I turn to it on a regular basis
to help let out my thoughts and feelings.

I plan on creating at least two albums in 2010.
One will be a mix of electronic dance party
beats and up tempo 80′s vocals with raps tossed in
at random, and another album of my beat boxing
and street performing. Keep checking up
on me to make sure I’m alive and you might just
find yourself with some new music in doing so.
